Top European Scouts Arrive in Ijebu Ode for Mega Football Scouting Tournament
The vibrant city of Ijebu Ode in Ogun State is poised to host an influx of top European scouts and club representatives, as Best Talent Football Club organizes a highly anticipated mega scouting program aimed at unearthing Nigeria’s finest football talents.
Following the resounding success of a similar event held at the University of Ibadan Sports Complex last year—where numerous players were scouted, nurtured, and subsequently transported to Europe—this year’s edition promises to be even more spectacular. The event is set to take place at the prestigious Dipo Dina International Stadium from Tuesday, March 4th, to Saturday, March 8th, 2025.
Scouts from Italy and other European countries have already arrived in Ogun State, eager to observe the Best Talent Scouting Programme. This mega event will feature 12 teams competing fiercely for the chance to impress international recruiters and secure a future in European football.

The tournament’s opening fixtures promise thrilling encounters, with Best Talent FC set to face Ikosi FC, followed by Adamimogo FC taking on Dominion Hotspur. Other matches include Victory FC vs. Utility Sports FC, Obas FC vs. Hephzibah SC, K Zeez FC vs. Seamorow FC, and D Shack FA vs. Utmost FC.

Sikiru Ibrahim, the coordinator of the scouting program, highlighted that the invited clubs are primarily youth teams and third-division clubs in Nigeria with a commendable record of competitive football.
