Makwada Stadium in Numan for Adamawa United

NNL Grants Approval for Adamawa United to Host Home Matches at Makwada Stadium.

The Nigerian National League (NNL) has officially approved Makwada Stadium in Numan, Adamawa State, as the new home ground for Adamawa United. This development comes as a relief to the club and its supporters, marking a long-awaited return to playing in their home state.

Adamawa United had been forced to host their NNL 2025 first-round home fixtures at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe due to the lack of suitable facilities in Adamawa. However, with the recent rehabilitation of Makwada Stadium, the team has now received clearance to stage its home games in front of its local fans.

First Match at Makwada Stadium Set for March 29

The historic first match at the newly approved Makwada Stadium is scheduled for Matchday 9 of the NNL season on March 29, when Adamawa United will face Basira FC. The club is expected to leverage the home advantage and the energy of their supporters to boost their campaign in the league.
