CAF Awards: Osimhen, Lookman Shine in 2024 FIFPro Best XI

The CAF Awards ceremony has unveiled the 2024 FIFPro Best XI, featuring an impressive lineup of African football stars. Super Eagles duo Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman have been included in the prestigious team, alongside top players from Manchester United and Liverpool.
Osimhen, the reigning Africa Player of the Year, leads the attack in the 3-4-3 formation, joined by Lookman and Liverpool’s Mo Salah. The trio forms a formidable frontline, showcasing the continent’s finest attacking talent.
Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has been chosen as the team’s goalkeeper, ahead of South Africa’s Ronwen Williams, who won the Best Goalkeeper award.

The defense features an impressive lineup, including Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi, Senegal’s Kalidou Koulibaly, and DR Congo’s Chancel Mbemba.
In midfield, Ghana’s Mohammed Kudus, Morocco’s Sofyan Amrabat, Cote d’Ivoire’s Franck Kessie, and Mali’s Yves Bissouma have been selected for their outstanding performances.
In the women’s category, four Nigerian internationals – Michelle Alozie, Osinachi Ohale, Rasheedat Ajibade, and Asisat Oshoala – have been included in the CAF 2024 FIFPro Women’s Best XI.
